Easter

So Easter came to our house with lots to do.

We dyed eggs for the first time at our house this year.

Mathias loved the yellow.

Annie after watching daddy decided that her hand would work to put the egg in she just didnt let go of the egg.

The result was a blue hand.

The easter bunny brought Annie dress up shoes...

and Mathias a new dragon.

Then they started hunting for easter eggs... Mathias kept trying to carry them all to his basket till he finally just took the basket with him.

Annie kept squealing "Eggs".

For dinner we went to Pat & Randys, after which we went for a walk.

The little people were having a blast throwing rocks into the puddles.

Annie after she decided to go swimming in the puddle that comes up to her waist.

So Andrew and I have a tradition of taking a picture of our newest baby in a basket at easter.

After lots of looking to find a basket we were grateful that my cousin had one we could borrow.

Halloween

So we had great fun at the church friday nights Halloween party!Mathias loved the fishing
and the bean bag toss

Annie of course moved right on in for her turn.

They also made all the classrooms into trick-or-treat spots and everyone decorated there own room.

Mathias didnt want to go home!!

Saturday for halloween we went over to mollys.

Ok so Annie reused Mathias costume from last year but she wears it around the house all the time and is obsessed wiht Nemo!

Annie finally got the hang of what was going on and very quietly would say tick-o-tea.

Mathias got a little impatient with the pace of little ones and he and Andrew eventually took off for a long Trick-or-Treat while we took the little ones back to mollys.

A Busy weekend

With Halloween we decided to visit the pumpkin patch!!Mathias found a wagon just his size...Annie of course found one a little biggerI make such cute little pumpkin pickers.

Mathias also fed the chickens and we saw a horse and Moo (as annie calls cows)

Time to carve

They just grow up to fast!!

Then it was off to nap time for them and Andrew and I got a bunch of boxes unpacked

Andrew and I of course did our pumpkins after the little monsters went to bed for the night.

Sunday the pregnancy cravings demanded to be appeased as a result we had a great dinner

Guacamole burgers with carmelized onions and mushrooms with all the fixins

followed with a fantastic fruit salad... and dont forget the fries.

Mathias had been asking for pumpkin pie for a few weeks so pumpkin pie for deseret.

Our Easter

I Know im a little slow since this was a month ago but with two kids I get a little busy!

Mathias go so excited that at first he was staring and running by the eggs before he started picking them up.

Annie on the other hand was trying to pick them all up and hold them. It took a while for Andrew to figure out that she wouldnt put them in the basket because he was holding it.

Alex thought that there eggs were much cooler but Annie didnt really want to share. He ended up getting her angry stare.

Christmas

Ok so Here is us setting our christmas tree. This is Annie excited.

Mathias got really good at putting up the decorations.

and of course Annie inspecting and removing them.

Christmas morning....

Our newest little cook and she spends alot of time in her little kitchen.

Mathias could have cared less that Santa had brought other presents once he saw that he had Mater in his sock.

But eventually we persauaded him to open his other presents.and nothing says christmas like waffles and strawberries.



The after christmas set was entertaing. Mathia got a GeoTrax Air set to go with his train. Needless to say below is the result.




Yep its time for a bigger house just for the GeoTrax it seems
