What a Week...

So about a week and a half ago we got our tax return so off we went to get the little tykes new beds.... While at the store on Saturday Mathias tugs on my leg I lean down and he whispers in my ear

"Mom tell them we have Money."

Now we had gone to price beds the week before and he was a little upset when we didn't leave the store with them I had to explain that mom & dad didn't have the money yet.

Monday they were promptly delivered at 9 am and when Andrew got home we spent about 3hrs working on them. Now we are just waiting on Mathias dragon bedding to be delivered.

Luckily Annie chose Dora so she is a happy girl.

On Thursday as many of you have heard Gracie had a great tumble and got her first major Owie. Within about 2 hrs she figured out how to climb the ladder into Annie's bed...

Yet still smiling....

Just to show off what little hair our miss Gracie has....

On Friday Mathias Bugs that grandma gave him for his Bday finally arrived. This great gift has already been fun for the kids he gets to raise Butterflies and Lady Bugs to release into the wild once there done growing. The best part is we can reuse the cages and order more whenever we want!! If you want to learn more check out there website HERE . They offer other things that you can grow too..

As you can see our Caterpillars have gotten really big already!

Wise man

OK so my little ones love to sing Wise man song...Gracie tends to scream it just as we are sitting down and it cracks me up. We attempted to get them to sing it for the camera many times and this was the best I could get....

Gracie is 1!!!

One year ago we brought home this little bundle that slept most of the time; now she is walking, jabbering, and playing.

We decided to go with mini cakes this year.

After a couple of little dainty bites and picking at it she decided that cake was good and devoured it.

Gracie on the move

So Gracie got a push bike from Santa and this week she has mastered it. Yesterday she went from the living room down the hall through my bedroom and out through the bathroom laundry room and straight to the kitchen. As you can see not much slows her down and she doesn't get stuck very often...

Gracie's Sea legs...

So Gracie has been taking steps and standing for a while..

Today I was able to catch it on film.

She was very proud of her self..

We cant seem to keep her off the new floor and she started pulling up the plastic spacers..

After we shot this she sat down and started picking stuff out of the cracks and licking her fingers..

She is getting more confident but she looks like she has been at sea for too long...

Christmas

What a Christmas we had... First off the tree had to have its bottom rows of lights removed when Gracie immediately went over and started pulling the bulbs out with her mouth...

As happy as she is here she has also decided to work on some molars and eye teeth....

Annie is of course happy with anything that Santa brought her....

Mathias though only wanted Santa to bring him Toothless with Hiccup riding him... It was his last present he received and I had been teasing him all morning. When it came to his last gift he started to cry... oops well lets just say it ended better than he hoped since Toothless breaths fire makes flying sounds and is the star of the show.... thank goodness for Santa's extreme helper.

Whats Christmas without an excellent meal to end the day!!!

Bedtime stories with daddy

Mathias is starting to understand how to share but only when its convenient.

Making cookies with daddy for Austins blessing and Daniels farewell however I forgot the camera that day.

We had a whirlwind visit from Maria, Heidi, Poppy, Grandma Buttons, Mia, & Presto for my Uncles Funeral.

They look so peaceful sadly it didn't last Presto ended up kicking Maria and Heidi off the big couch and onto the floor.

When cousins come your required to have a sword fight.

Thankfully Aunt Pat watched all the kids while we went to the funeral.

We had Thanksgiving the next weekend at Aunt Micki's however the only picture I got was Heather holding Gracie.

Saturday we put up our Christmas tree, Thank You Brother and Sister Jacobsen!

and decorated our Gingerbread House.

Amazingly most of the candy actually made it on the house and it went up with very little mess.

Gracie just takes it all in...

When Gracie gets excited its pretty funny to watch her waving her arms wildly in the air while standing by herself. Once she realizes what shes doing she sits pretty fast.

I often lose my water bottles and have to hunt them back down....

Our Little Gremlin

OK so Gracie has this little Growling thing she does...When Grandma Buttons and Poppy were here we were eating dinner when she started in on on her growl.

My mom asked what the noise was and Andrew and I responded that is was Gracie...

Many have asked us if we had it on video, and Im pleased to announce I finally got it.

Gracie 9 Months

Lil' Gracie turned 9 Months.... time seems to go by so fast....

She weighed in at 16 lbs. 6.oz 11% and 27 & 3/4 at 50%. So as Dr Phillips says she is definitely a Henderson. She has 6 teeth and working on more. She loves driving toy cars its a little odd. She is pretty funny about it and actually will push them wherever she goes....

She is becoming more of a mommies girl everyday which means im the only one that can usually get her to calm down... not always the best thing.

I couldnt resist this photo yes she is stinking her pants but it was pricless...

October.......Halloween

OK so I have become a once a month blogger.

Gracie definitely loves her brother she follows him whenever she can.

With cooler weather the kids and I started baking again..

Gracie is popping teeth through like crazy she added the other 2 on the top last week for a total of six. She seems to be working on her eye teeth now....

Andrew had his 35th Birthday....

Grandma Buttons and Poppie came to stay while they painted Grandmas old house....

So we took the opportunity to sing to them for there Birthdays...

Poppie and I went to the temple with Daniel for his Endowments.

He leaves for his mission in two weeks!!!

Andrew started working nights until Christmas so I helped the kids carve there pumpkins this year alone....

(this is the first year Andrew and I didn't carve pumpkins.)

So proud....

Gracie has found that she can get Mathias to do just about anything even help her walk.

So we went to our tri-ward Halloween party Saturday and the kids had a blast...

They got to trick-or-treat through the classrooms and then play games in the Gym as well as a hay ride in the parking lot.....
