Off to School

Our day finally came Mathias went off to school. So excited he never looked back. He came home a little tired after his first day but perked up and finally told me all the fun stuff he got to do.

Annie has not fared nearly as well she was upset the first day on the way home and it took a little while before realizing that she wanted us to go back and get brother. Monday when we dropped him off was worse he went off happily. Annie had a death grip on the door and was going to stay. I sadly had Gracie in my arms and had to physically remove her from the door. Poor girl cried all the way down the hall.  Wednesday she left him fine but was still unwilling to play. We are hoping she adjusts better this next week. 

Tornado visit

So Grandma and the cousins that didn't go on the trip to see Zac came to visit us for a week!!! So here are just a few pics.

Sadly with only 2 swings there was a few fights about whos turn it was.

Ok so we picked a few kids up every a couple different days...

Heathers girls didnt want to watch there brothers soccer game in the rain so they watched Tangled with the kids instead.

Presto LOVED playdoh if he was having a rough day we got it out and voila happy boy.

Saying good bye to Grandma.

What a Week...

So about a week and a half ago we got our tax return so off we went to get the little tykes new beds.... While at the store on Saturday Mathias tugs on my leg I lean down and he whispers in my ear

"Mom tell them we have Money."

Now we had gone to price beds the week before and he was a little upset when we didn't leave the store with them I had to explain that mom & dad didn't have the money yet.

Monday they were promptly delivered at 9 am and when Andrew got home we spent about 3hrs working on them. Now we are just waiting on Mathias dragon bedding to be delivered.

Luckily Annie chose Dora so she is a happy girl.

On Thursday as many of you have heard Gracie had a great tumble and got her first major Owie. Within about 2 hrs she figured out how to climb the ladder into Annie's bed...

Yet still smiling....

Just to show off what little hair our miss Gracie has....

On Friday Mathias Bugs that grandma gave him for his Bday finally arrived. This great gift has already been fun for the kids he gets to raise Butterflies and Lady Bugs to release into the wild once there done growing. As you can see our Caterpillars have gotten really big already!

Wise man

OK so my little ones love to sing Wise man song...Gracie tends to scream it just as we are sitting down and it cracks me up. We attempted to get them to sing it for the camera many times and this was the best I could get....

Christmas

What a Christmas we had... First off the tree had to have its bottom rows of lights removed when Gracie immediately went over and started pulling the bulbs out with her mouth...

As happy as she is here she has also decided to work on some molars and eye teeth....

Annie is of course happy with anything that Santa brought her....

Mathias though only wanted Santa to bring him Toothless with Hiccup riding him... It was his last present he received and I had been teasing him all morning. When it came to his last gift he started to cry... oops well lets just say it ended better than he hoped since Toothless breaths fire makes flying sounds and is the star of the show.... thank goodness for Santa's extreme helper.

Whats Christmas without an excellent meal to end the day!!!

Annie's 3rd Birthday

So its Annie's Birthday.

Its been 3 years since this spunky and energetic little girl has been given to us.

She never ceases to amaze me with the excuses she comes up with to the funny antics she has. She easily makes friends of all ages, and loves to hug and kiss or generally maul people. She can make you laugh even when you're annoyed that she doesn't listen. She is a wonderful little girl who even though she can be contradictory and has a temper to match she also has a very loving, caring, and fun personality. We'll enjoy all the little moments with her and to watch her grow up into a wonderful young woman. Happy Birthday Annie!

Since her Birthday fell on Sunday we celebrated Saturday night.

She couldn't wait to play with her doll house.
