Ok So our July started with a bang!!! We went to the Swartz House for the 4th of July pool party.
Annie and Mathias loved jumping in at the deep end and swimming all the way back to the shallow end over and over. Annie even jumped of the rock they have at the deep end many times... little bummed I didn't get any pics of it
Then came the fireworks show...
Annie didnt like the noise a promptly became uncle Randys Fireworks buddy.
Even Austin was impressed.
We tried to catch Gracies amazed face that Andrew, Ben and I were all laughing at sadly this is the best we got.
The next day Rochelle, Robyn, and I took the kids camping at the coast for a couple of nights!
How can you not love the CHEESE face..
Our daily bike riding around the circle at camp.
While Annie was having her hair done Gracie came over and picked up the bag of hair things and promtly said " wanna bow". Rochelle thought Annie had said and was a little surprised. Well she got her bow and was a very happy camper..
We also went down to the lighthouse in crescent city which you can only get to when the tide goes out.
The little ones were so excited they couldn't stop running.
The great part was exploring all the tide pools while Rochelle ran back to the car to get Austins Paci and Robyn sat down on a rock to nurse him.. so off I went with the 3 three year olds a 5 yr old and 1yr old to find starfish!
We even found some hermit crabs!!
Mathias was the one brave soul to touch the starfish...
Onward to the lighthouse!

Running again Gracie refused to be carried anywhere as a result the rest of the group was usually way ahead of us...
To the Beach to play in the waves that afternoon!

The Swartz's met us there and Mathias love Justin so off they went to play in the waves.
Back to camp and play in the river again... Robyn and Rochelle had all the 3 yr olds and went on an adventure...
meanwhile on the beach I watched the little rock eating Austin...

While across the river the little guys are showing off there jumping skills!
It just wouldnt be a camping trip without roasting marshmallows!
Ok again with her CHEESE.
On the way home we stopped in Redwoods to play!

Gracie saw all the other kids climb into the hole and insisted the she go down there to...
We had a blast so when Rochelle wanted to try a new spot outside of Cave Junction.... So Last week Off we went again with some added friends!
This is the beach on the creek where we were camping after we had already played in the rapids closer to camp. We had Tanya from church with her two kids Shawn who Mathias loves from church and little Hannah who is 2 wks younger than Austin...

Now its time to go back to camp and make dinner..
Gracie got to ride in style thanks to aunt Rochelle.
The next day we went down to the Illinois ( the creek was Ice cold) and found the perfect swimming spot for the little kids.
Gracie had a grand old time..
Annie didn't feel very good this camping trip and couldn't be talked into playing the water.

That evening we took the kids to the little amphitheater they had at camp and they got to take center stage for story time...

We had a blast and the older Gent the was camping next to us would come out and watch all the kids ride there bikes by the promptly said there goes there Plastic Parade.... when we left he told Rochelle he wouldn't know what time to get up in the morning with out the Plastic Express since they would all ride there bikes down the road in the am for the bathroom visit!!
Despite getting sick when we got back we had a great July and we look forward to August.
As well as Gracie is 18 months Today but I will post all about her later!!!
